HOW THE COMBIMAT LINEAR WEIGHER WORKS

In the linear filling units, the product is transported from the central hopper to the weighing tray via the vibrating chute. This cycle is divided into three phases with different vibration strengths in order to achieve an optimal product flow. At the end of the chute, a pneumatic valve reduces the product flow towards the end of the weighing cycle in order to achieve optimum accuracy.

DESIGN AND OPTIONS

All linear weighers are made of stainless steel and have a modular design. All contact parts can be removed without tools, and the compact design ensures that they can be easily installed in the production area. Of course, the synchronisation signals are present to work in combination with an automatic packaging machine, but it is also possible to have the weigher discharge semi-automatically by means of a foot pedal. In addition, a sensor monitors the level in the bunker and releases a signal when product needs to be added.

CONTROL

Operation is entirely via a clear 7″ colour touch screen with storage for 90 programmes. The comprehensive software includes weighing filters, password protection and is available in several languages (including Dutch, English, German, French and Spanish).
